The series, penned by Nandini Gupta, Aarsh Vora, and Mithun Gongopadhyay, is created by Mithun Gongopadhyay and Nishant Nayak. It is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, with Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Apoorva Mehta as producers, and executive producers Somen Mishra and Archit Kumar, who also directed the series alongside Collin D'Cunha.

Titled 'Do You Wanna Partner,' this web series is described as a quirky, contemporary comedy-drama about two lively best friends, Shikha and Anahita (portrayed by Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty), as they embark on a bold venture to start their own alcohol business. Set amidst the vibrant chaos of urban life, the series chronicles their journey to establish themselves in the male-dominated craft beer industry. As they challenge conventions, break rules, encounter eccentric situations, and craft their destiny with style, determination, and a lot of jugaad, 'Do You Wanna Partner' offers a sharp yet heartwarming depiction of female ambition, according to a press release.

Karan Johar, the producer of "Do You Wanna Partner," commented, "The show is bold, lively, and unapologetically entertaining, capturing the determination, passion, and drive of a new generation of entrepreneurs, particularly women excelling in unconventional fields. It's quirky, emotional, and deeply rooted in the Indian concept of jugaad. Working with Prime Video remains a creatively rewarding journey for everyone at Dharmatic Entertainment. Together, we've delivered daring, modern stories that resonate globally. We're proud of the vibrant, chaotic universe we've created and the powerful message it conveys. I'm excited that this story, originating from a local idea, is now set to captivate audiences worldwide." The show features Jaaved Jafferi, Nakuul Mehta, Neeraj Kabi, Shweta Tiwari, Sufi Motiwala, and Rannvijay Singha, and will be available on Prime Video on September 12.
