Adding a touch of glamour to the traditional celebration was a gathering of personalities from television, cinema and public life. According to the organisers, the evening was attended by Priyanka Chaturvedi, Rupali Ganguly, Arjun Bijlani, Amyra Dastur, Jibraan Khan, Naila Grrewal, Manasi Parekh, Delnaaz Irani and Alpana Buch, among others.

Their presence reflected the wider appeal of Navratri celebrations, which continue to bring together people across generations, professions and communities.

At the heart of the evening, however, remained the devotional significance of Garba and its association with Maa Amba. Speaking about the festivities, the organisers said, "Garba is an emotion that connects us to our traditions and the blessings of Maa Amba." They also expressed their wishes for happiness, positivity and prosperity, emphasising the importance of celebrating cultural traditions through music and community participation.

Where Tradition Meets Contemporary Entertainment

For decades, Falguni Pathak's distinctive musical identity has remained closely associated with Navratri, particularly among Gujarati communities. Her performances have helped bring traditional Garba music into mainstream popular culture while retaining its festive and devotional character.

The Mumbai event reflects how these traditions are increasingly being presented through contemporary live-entertainment formats. Large indoor venues, professional concert production and organised festival experiences have expanded the scale of celebrations without replacing the cultural practices at their centre.

The West Avenue Realty Navratri Utsav 2026, produced and promoted by TribeVibe and Alphonso Studios, is scheduled to run from October 11 to 19 at the Jio World Convention Centre.

As the nine-night festivities approach their conclusion, Day 6 offered another reminder of why Falguni Pathak remains one of Navratri's most recognisable musical voices. Beyond celebrity appearances and elaborate stage production, it was the shared experience of music, devotion and Garba that defined the celebration.
