Adding a special dimension to the festivities, Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma attended the celebrations and performed aarti before the Goddess, reinforcing the devotional significance of the occasion. Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar was also named among the guests in the event information shared with the publication.
Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari brought a cinematic touch to the evening. The pair, who headline Sooraj R. Barjatya's upcoming film Yeh Prem Mol Liya, joined the celebrations following the release of the film's festive Garba track, Jai Ambe Bol.
Their appearance connected the film's musical identity with a living cultural tradition. The actors offered prayers before joining Falguni Pathak and the festive gathering, turning the occasion into both a celebration of Navratri and an opportunity to introduce their film's music to Garba enthusiasts.
Where Devotion, Music and Community Come Together
For Alphonso Studios and TribeVibe, the nine-night celebration represented more than a live musical event. It provided a contemporary setting for a tradition that continues to bring families, communities and generations together.
Reflecting on the occasion, the organisers shared, "Garba is an emotion that connects us to our traditions and the blessings of Maa Amba." The sentiment captured an important aspect of Navratri: beyond its colourful costumes, music and elaborate performances, Garba remains rooted in collective devotion and cultural belonging.

With its indoor venue, live entertainment and traditional festivities, Navratri Utsav 2026 offered a meeting point between Mumbai's contemporary event culture and the city's enduring enthusiasm for community celebrations.
For Falguni Pathak, the eighth evening was another reminder of her lasting connection with audiences. For Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, it brought the music of Yeh Prem Mol Liya into a setting where Garba is not merely entertainment but a cherished tradition.
As the nine-night celebrations approached their conclusion, the evening underscored the continuing relevance of Navratri in Mumbai's cultural calendar, where faith, music, cinema and community come together in celebration of Maa Amba.
