The first glimpses of Prince William and Kate Middleton from 'The Crown' have been revealed.

Washington [US], April 28: Popular series "The Crown's" versions of Prince William and Kate Middleton have arrived.

Netflix revealed the first images of Ed McVey, 23, as Prince William and Meg Bellamy, 19, as Kate Middleton on Thursday.

The photographs show the two at St. Andrews throughout their academic years. They met while Middleton was studying art history there in 2001. Season 6 of Netflix's blockbuster drama "The Crown" will be the show's final season. According to the New York Post, the programme has spanned decades, dating back to Queen Elizabeth II's early days. The last season will focus on the 1990s, notably the death of Princess Diana, which has already sparked debate.

Imelda Staunton will reprise her role as Queen Elizabeth in Season 6, alongside Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker-Bowles, and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana. The show's creator, Peter Morgan, has already stated that the show will not address Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's myriad controversies. "As The Crown enters a new decade, Prince William begins at University in St Andrew's, determined to lead as normal a life as possible while he still can," Netflix says of the photos. Kate Middleton, from Berkshire, is also starting her university career. As the two meet for the first time on campus, a new romance and a new future for the crown blossoms.

Netflix has not yet announced a premiere date for the final season.
