Article 370 Heads to 72nd National Film Awards with B62 Studios Team
B62 Studios’ maiden release Article 370 is set to add another significant chapter to its journey as the film’s key creative and production team heads to Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, for the 72nd National Film Awards on September 22.

Producers Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar, actor Yami Gautam Dhar, director Aditya Suhas Jambhale and composer Shashwat Sachdev will come together to receive the country’s highest film honours from President Droupadi Murmu.
For B62 Studios, Article 370 represents more than an award-winning film. It was the studio’s first release, built around a politically charged subject and entrusted to Jambhale for his theatrical feature debut. The film’s recognition at the National Film Awards has consequently become an important milestone for both the filmmaker and the young production house.
For Jambhale, the honour marks his third National Award and his first recognition for a feature film. For Sachdev, it becomes his second National Award, following his earlier win for Uri: The Surgical Strike the Aditya Dhar directorial that also marked the beginning of his creative association with the filmmaker. Their collaboration has since continued through Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
The journey of B62 Studios has expanded considerably since Article 370. Its subsequent slate includes Dhoom Dhaam, Baramulla and the Dhurandhar franchise, reflecting a production strategy that has moved between grounded storytelling, political drama and large-scale commercial cinema.
That range is perhaps the more interesting story behind the studio’s National Award moment. Article 370 established B62 with a subject-driven political drama, while its later projects have increasingly occupied the space of mainstream spectacle and theatrical entertainment. The common thread is an emphasis on scale, storytelling and filmmaker-driven projects.
As the Article 370 team arrives in Gujarat for the 72nd National Film Awards, the occasion therefore marks two things at once: recognition for a film that launched B62 Studios and a milestone for a production house whose journey has continued to expand beyond its debut.
For the people behind Article 370, September 22 is a moment of national recognition. For B62 Studios, it also represents the significance of where the journey began.
