"My journey in cinema would have been incomplete if I didn't get to work with Bachchan sir"

Mumbai [India], October 21: Actor Parineeti Chopra, who shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in 'Uunchai', thanked the megastar for teaching her what truly being humble means.

"It is just amazing that I am getting to work with Mr Bachchan this year, which happens to be his milestone 80th birth year. Even after he has accomplished possibly everything, it was amazing to see him approach every day on the sets like it was the first day of his career. The dedication, the drive and the passion he has for cinema is incomparable and that's what sets him apart. He is an institution and I have ticked off working with him from my bucket list, thanks to Uunchai! My journey in cinema would have been incomplete if I didn't get to work with Bachchan sir," she communiquéd.

Parineeti described Big B as "inquisitive." "The time I got to spend with him on the sets of Uunchai is one of the most precious moments of my career. He taught me the true meaning of being humble in spite of being the megastar that he is and that is what my biggest learning was from him. What I connected with him the most on is that, he is so inquisitive and is always enthusiastic to learn! He is a beautiful person and it was a treat to work with him on the same film," she added.

In Sooraj Barjatya's Uunchai, apart from Big B, Parineeti will also be seen with Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Sarika and Neena Gupta.

The film is releasing on 11th November in the theatres.

Mumbai [India], August 7 (ANI): It's Friendship Day today, and what better way to rejoice than learning about a new film starring the stalwarts of Bollywood?

Amitabh Bachchan, on the occasion of Friendship Day, unveiled the first poster of his upcoming film 'Uunchai' in which he will be seen alongside Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, this film is all about friendship. The film which is set to hit the theatres in November this year will see Neena Gupta, and Sarika, with Parineeti Chopra in a special appearance. The film also stars Danny Denzongpa and Nafisa Ali Sodhi. The film marks Sooraj Barjatya's return to direction after 7 years and has been extensively shot in Nepal. Amitabh Bachchan unveiled the poster on his social media handle and wrote, "Celebrate #FriendshipDay with the first visual of our upcoming #Rajshri film #Uunchai. Join me, @anupamkher and @boman_irani on a journey that celebrates friendship. A film by @rajshrifilms and #SoorajBarjatya, @uunchaithemovie will be in a theatre near you on 11.11.22."

Going by the looks of it, it seems like the film is going to be all about the three lead actors' expedition to Everest. The movie is all set to clash with Sidharth Malhotra's upcoming action thriller film 'Yodha', which also stars Disha Patani and Rashi Khanna in the lead roles. Makers began shooting for 'Uunchai' in October 2021 in Nepal. In April 2022, Anupam Kher announced the wrap of the film on his Instagram account.

Mumbai [India] June 06: Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher shared a couple of pictures with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on his social media account, on Monday.

The 'Kashmir Files' actor took to his Instagram handle and dropped two pictures with CM Adityanath, as he visited CM's residence, in UP. Sharing the pictures on social media, he wrote, "Respected @myogi_adityanath ji! It was great to meet you at your residence today! The stories of your early life were very entertaining and interesting as well as inspiring. You are a source of energy for us and for every generation of the country. May you be blessed with a long and healthy life. And in the same way, keep trying to make Uttar Pradesh and the country progress on the path of progress. Jai Hind.#YogiJi #ChiefMinister"


The comment section was full of heart emoticons, as fans and admirers showered their love for both of them. Starring Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumaar in key roles, the 'Kashmir Files', which was released on March 11, 2022, became the first post-pandemic Hindi film to break the $300 million milestone at the box office. Anupam's performance in the film is just commendable and jaw-dropping. Not only in India, but his acting has been praised throughout the world. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kher concluded the shooting of 'Uunchai' with legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Neena Gupta.
