Preston Pablo is showing no signs of slowing down after his quadruple platinum certified and top 5 Top 40/Hot AC charting hit, winning the 2023 JUNO Breakthrough Artist of the Year award, and opening select Canadian tours for NF. He follows up his blockbuster single "Flowers Need Rain" and summer smash "For Keeps" with his next dark R&B track "Believe" created by Grammy Award-certified songwriter & producer Rico Love (Usher, Beyonce, Wiz Khalifa, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Rowland).

After receiving remarks from ace news sources like:

“the next big Canadian pop star” - CBC Q with Tom Power

"a rapidly rising star" - The Timmins Daily Press

"With a commercially acute sound, definitive musicality, and an image that more than matches his talent, Preston Pablo looks set to achieve huge success" - Wonderland

"Keep your eyes on Preston Pablo" - Slice

Preston shares his excitement with this communiqué, "I’m super excited to be putting out music like this, especially after playing in the pop space for the last while, putting out R&B music feels right. Some of my earliest music leans very R&B so getting to tap back into that space is refreshing. I think “Believe” is a great transitional record for the newer fans who haven’t heard my R&B side of my music. The blend of pop mixed in with early 2000s R&B melodies make it feel like the perfect song to initiate this new journey."

“I truly believe in Preston’s style, voice, and energy,“ stated the producer, Rico Love. “He’s a generational talent and he’s a REAL person! Someone who is pure in heart and will only sing things that feel real to him. I look forward to a lifetime of success with him.”

The budding musician released "Love You Bad" at the end of 2022, displaying his ability to span genres with his honest lyrics and an R&B melody. Preston had a successful year last year, thanks to the growing chart success of his big label debut "Flowers Need Rain" with multi-platinum producer-songwriters Banx & Ranx. The triple platinum-selling track has over 79 million global streams, achieved #1 on Mainstream AC in Canada, and has been in the top five on radio across Mainstream AC, Hot AC, and Top 40 since October 2022. "Flowers Need Rain" was the most Shazamed song in Canada, and it was added to numerous global Viral Top 50 Spotify playlists (including Germany, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand) the song was named SOCAN's most popular Anglophone song of the year, and it has received over 200 million audience impressions on Canadian radio.

Preston's next EP demonstrates his maturation and transition from young pop to mature R&B. Warm, dark, and somber music will be included throughout his campaign.
