30.1.26-Mumbai: Spiritual teacher and motivational mentor Dr. Latesh Shah unveiled his new book “Today’s Vedas – Timeless Creation for the Modern Generation” at a formal launch held at the iconic Taj Santazruz. The event brought together educators, entrepreneurs, and readers curious about making ancient knowledge relevant in contemporary life.

Dr. Shah is widely recognised for his work in leadership mentoring, life coaching, and spiritual education. Over the years, he has trained more than 300,000 individuals and mentored over 1,000 leaders worldwide, earning the respected title “The Human Builder.” His programs blend personal development with timeless philosophical insight, making him a distinctive voice in India’s motivational and educational landscape.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Shah described the Vedas as a universal knowledge system rather than a religious doctrine. He explained that Vedic teachings focus on life, nature, human consciousness, and purpose. According to him, principles such as Dharma (duty), Artha (prosperity), Kaam (desire), and Moksha (liberation) remain deeply relevant in navigating modern challenges. His book presents these concepts in clear, accessible language designed especially for younger generations.

Dr. Shah’s contributions to education and peace have received international recognition. In May 2025, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Iconic Peace Award Council. He is also the author of six bestselling books, including Today’s Bhagavad Gita, and has been acknowledged by global peace bodies such as IIFWP for promoting harmony through knowledge.
The evening’s event was supported by Paresh Barua, owner of Granth Book Store, whom Dr. Shah credited as a key force behind organising the launch. He described Barua as a “lighthouse” who helped turn the vision of the event into reality.
Among the distinguished chief guests were renowned actress Sujata Mehta and noted plastic and reconstructive surgeon, philosopher, and environmentalist Dr. Raveen Thatte, whose presence added further significance to the occasion.
Dr. Shah also shared that he is currently pursuing an MBA at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, underscoring his belief that modern management education and ancient wisdom can complement each other.
The launch concluded with an interactive discussion and book signing session, leaving attendees with a renewed curiosity about Vedic knowledge in everyday life. With “Today’s Vedas,” Dr. Latesh Shah continues his mission of making ancient Indian wisdom practical, relatable, and transformative for today’s generation.
