Mumbai (Maharashtra), Jan 3: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty began filming for their upcoming action film 'Singham Again' on Monday.

Taking to Instagram, Ajay shared a picture which he captioned, "Made a good start to the New Year with @itsrohitshetty 's narration of Singham Again. The script I heard is. God willing this will be our 11th blockbuster."

'Singham Again' is going to be the third instalment of the super hit cop franchise 'Singham'.

'Singham Again,' directed by Rohit Shetty, will also star actor Deepika Padukone as a cop.

Fans flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons shortly after the 'Runway 34' actor shared the photo.

'Singham,' which starred Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in the lead roles, was released in 2011, and was followed by 'Singham Returns,' which was released in 2014, and both projects were box office hits. Aside from the 'Singham' series, director Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn have collaborated on films such as 'Zameen,' the 'Golmaal' franchise, and a comedy film called 'All the Best,' all of which performed well. Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty's comedy film 'Cirkus,' starring Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Pooja Hegde, was recently released. At the box office, the film failed to wow the audience.

Rohit's next project is an upcoming web series called 'Indian Police Force,' which will star Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Vivek Oberoi and will be available exclusively on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.

Ajay, on the other hand, will be seen in producer Boney Kapoor's next sports drama film 'Maidaan' as well as an action thriller film 'Bholaa'.

Mumbai [India], September 20: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, on Monday, reunited with the star cast and the director of his next family entertainer film 'Cirkus' as the team shot for the grand finale episode of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 12'.

In the picture, the 'Padmaavat' actor could be seen along with director Rohit Shetty, Varun Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, Johny Lever and Siddharth Jadhav.

Meanwhile, director Rohit Shetty dropped a string of pictures on Instagram from the finale shoot of 'KKK 12', which he captioned, "When my 'Cirkus' met my Khatron Ke Khiladis! Thanks to my audience for making 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' a big success! Ab Christmas mein 'Cirkus' ko bhi itna hi pyaar dena!."

Actor Jacqueline Fernandez was missing from the promotional episode shoot, as she is also a part of the Rohit Shetty directorial film. 'Cirkus' is all set to hit the theatres on the occasion of Christmas 2022. 'Cirkus' marks the second collaboration of actor Ranveer and director Rohit Shetty, in a full-fledged role after 'Simmba'. Based on the 1960s era, the film also marks Ranveer's first double-role of his career.

Makers earlier unveiled the first look posters and the release date of the film.

Meanwhile, the 'Ram-Leela' actor will be also seen in Karan Johar's next directorial 'Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' alongside Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra. The film is all set to release on February 10, 2023.
