Christopher Nolan unveils first poster of upcoming thriller 'Oppenheimer'

Washington [U.S], July 20: Hollywood ace director, Christopher Nolan, on Thursday, unveiled the first poster of his upcoming film 'Oppenheimer' starring Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh in the lead roles.

In the fiery poster, the 'Peaky Blinders' actor Cillian Murphy could be seen as J. Robert Oppenheimer, taking a walk in the cloud of fire and smoke. According to Variety, Christopher Nolan will team up with VFX studio DNEG for his upcoming film "Oppenheimer."

This marks the eighth collaboration between Nolan and the studio. The upcoming Universal project is a biopic of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the theoretical physicist who is remembered as one of the fathers of the atom bomb. Previously, makers unveiled the first look poster of Cillian Murphy from the film.

The upcoming project is touted as an "epic thriller that thrusts audiences into the pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk destroying the world in order to save it." The film is all set to hit the theatres on July 21, 2023. 'Oppenheimer' marks the first on-screen collaboration of Robert Downey Jr and Cillian Murphy.

Nolan's story is based on Kai Bird and Martin Sherwin's Pulitzer Prize-winning biography "American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer." Published in 2006, the 721-page book took Bird and Sherwin 25 years to research and write. Both authors are credited as writers of the film, with Nolan himself penning the screenplay, Variety reported.

Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell join Godzilla and the Titans live-action series cast

Washington [US], July 20: American actors Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell have become the latest additions to the cast of Apple and Legendary's upcoming live-action series about Godzilla and the Titans.

According to Variety, the father and son duo will be joining the previously announced cast members Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett and Elisa Lasowski in the show based on Legendary's growing Monsterverse franchise.

The show follows the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real. The upcoming series will explore one family's journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch. Chris Black and Matt Fraction co-created the series with both executive producing it. Black will also serve as showrunner. Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell of Safehouse Pictures will also executive produce along with Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita of Toho Co. Ltd. Toho is the owner of the Godzilla character and has licensed the rights to Legendary for the series.

Variety reported that 'WandaVision' director Matt Shakman is attached to direct the first two episodes and executive produce. The show continues the story of the Legendary Monsterverse established in films like 'Kong: Skull Island' and 2014's 'Godzilla'.

Washington [US], July 18: Jennifer Lopez recently tied the knot with Ben Affleck and although the 52-year-old actor hasn't posted any pictures of her Vegas wedding, renowned Hair stylist Chris Appletown who is close friends with her shared the first look of her Wedding gown on Instagram.

Chris shared a video of JLo twirling in a beautiful white wedding gown and wrote, "last minute feelings before the wedding..." In the video, Chris is heard asking JLo how she feels to which she responds saying "I'm feeling amazing". Referring to the dress, JLo later says, "I've been saving it, saving it, saving it and now I'm finally wearing it...on my wedding day".

She kept her overall makeup subtle with a nude coloured lip shade but gave a pop of colour with dark eye makeup. For hair, she opted for soft curls. She didn't accessorize much and kept it simple with a bracelet and solitaire earrings. According to court records, obtained by TMZ, the couple got a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada US which was taken out and processed on Saturday, July 16. It's in both of their names -Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez. The couple first got engaged in late 2002 but called the engagement off in 2004. They both went separate ways, indulged in separate relationships, including marriages and kids, but found their way back to each other last year. The couple has been seemingly inseparable ever since. After dating for a year during the pandemic, the couple made it official. They announced their engagement through a newsletter.

JLo posted a video on her official website wherein she is seen shedding some tears of joy while staring at her engagement ring.
