Hope both movies have a good run:Akshay on Raksha Bandhan's clash with Aamir's 'Laal Singh Chaddha'

Mumbai [India], June 22: Movies releasing on the same day are no longer seen as a threat or a competition. Actors Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan are coming up with their respective films 'Raksha Bandhan' and 'Laal Singh Chaddha' on August 11 this year, and the former does not see it as a "clash" at all.

"It is not a clash, it is about two good movies coming together and also it's a festive weekend. Also, because of COVID-19, many movies did not get released. There are so many movies that are still waiting to be released in theatres," Akshay said during the trailer launch of 'Raksha Bandhan'.

Akshay hopes both films have a good run at box office. " Two movies releasing in the same week is natural, so I wouldn't say we are clashing, we are trying to bring out films to the people. I hope both the films have a good run," he added. Helmed by Aanand L Rai, 'Raksha Bandhan' is written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon.

Speaking of the film's trailer, it features Akshay as some version of Maryada Purushottam Ram, who is willing to sell even his kidneys to marry off his four sisters, played by Sadia, Sahejmeen, Deepika and Smrithi. Bhumi Pednekar and Seema Pahwa are also a part of the film.

Mumbai [India], June 20: Veteran star Anupam Kher first look from his upcoming 525th movie 'The Signature' is out. The actor recently announced the title of his upcoming flix on social media account.

On Monday, film critic and movie trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first look poster of 'The Signature' movie starring Anupam Kher and Mahima Chaudhry on Twitter. In the first look poster, Anupam kher is seen in the streets dressed in a striped shirt and a trouser, holding an umbrella in one hand and has carried a shoulder bag on other. 'The Signature' is directed by none other than National Award winning director Gajendra Ahire and its Co-produced by Anupam Kher Studio.

A' Wednesday' star recently expressed his excitement for his career's 525th film on his social media account. In his Instagram post along with pictures, the actor wrote, "It is "THE SIGNATURE" ! Yes!! The name of my 525th movie is finalised.

Anupam Kher, a National School of Drama (NSD) alumnus, has starred in a number of Hindi films such as 'Ram Lakhan', 'Lamhe', 'Khel', 'Darr', 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', 'A Wednesday', and 'M S Dhoni: The Untold Story' during the course of his nearly four-decade career.

On the work front presently, Anupam concluded the shooting of 'Uunchai' with legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani and Neena Gupta.


Shah Rukh Khan announces 'Jawan', watch teaser here

Mumbai [India], June 04: Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming project 'Jawan', which will be an action entertainer directed by Atlee, has been announced on Friday. The makers also unveiled an intriguing teaser of the film. On Friday, King Khan took to Instagram and unveiled the teaser which also showcases the actor's first look.

He captioned the post and wrote, "An action-packed 2023!! Bringing #Jawan to you, an explosive entertainer in cinemas 2nd June 2023. In Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada."

The teaser features SRK in a never-seen-before avatar, amidst a rugged backdrop, with his face partially covered, wounded and wrapped in bandages.

The glimpse of his first look in the teaser, where a voice on the phone says "Good to go chief" after which SRK laughs for a while and said "Ready." Shah Rukh in a statement on Friday said, "'Jawan' is an universal story that goes beyond languages, and geographies and is for all to enjoy. Credit goes to Atlee for creating this unique film, which has also been a fantastic experience for me as I love action films! The teaser is the just tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse into what's to come". Director Atlee also spoke about creating 'Jawan' and said, "'Jawan' has something in it for everyone be it actions, emotions, drama all woven in to create a visual spectacle. I want to give the audiences an exceptional experience, an event which they all can enjoy together and who better to deliver it than Shah Rukh Khan himself, presented like never before". 'Jawan' is a film produced by Gauri Khan, presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, starring Shah Rukh Khan is his first pan-India film, which will be released on June 2, 2023, across five languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

With 'Jawan's' announcement, Shah Rukh Khan is set to treat the audiences and his fans with three films next year, namely, 'Dunki', 'Pathaan' & now 'Jawan'.
