The '7 Rings' hitmaker took to social media on Wednesday to promote her new album, which will be released next year, according to Variety.

"See you next year," Grande wrote in the caption to a carousel of Instagram photo.

Grande shared a range of in-studio memories, each with a different tone: a video of Grande's mother dancing, a screenshot of a FaceTime call where she's dancing, a snapshot of a warehouse (perhaps a music video set? ), and another photo of her crying. "The two moods of the album," she said on Instagram. Grande also added a video from someone who mentions that it is "almost the last day of this album." "I'm so tired," she admits in the video. "But I'm so grateful and happy." I also have the impression that I weigh 3,000 tonnes.

Grande hasn't released an album since 'Positions,' which set multiple records in 2020. When it was released in October 2020, it debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, selling 174,000 album-equivalent copies.

Since earlier this month, Grande has been teasing her upcoming project on Instagram.

Ariana Grande's new album announcement comes just five weeks after she parted ways with long-term manager Scooter Braun and signed with Good World Management. This is her first assignment with the new agency. Her upcoming album will also be her first after her marriage to real estate agent Dalton Gomez and subsequent divorce. Outside of music, Grande has been preoccupied with her role in the upcoming film Wicked, which will be released in November 2024.

Neha Dhupia and Adil Hussain will star in Egyptian director Ali El Arabi‘s upcoming drama “Blue 52,” about a young Indian soccer fan’s journey as a migrant worker to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

In El Arabi’s “Blue 52” Ashish endures his father’s isolating control on a remote island home in Kochi, India, but with his mother’s support, and lessons alongside inspiration from his late brother, he breaks free. Ashish embarks on a journey to meet his idol, Messi, at the World Cup in Qatar 22, leading him to face the world for the first time.

"Blue 52," which was intended to be a documentary, has finally completed production. El Arabi made a stir at virtual Sundance in 2021 with the documentary "Captains of Zaatari," about the football hopes of adolescent Syrian refugees.

Dhupia and Hussain play Ashish's mother and father, who live on an island in the Indian state of Kerala where Ashish (Yadav Shashidhar) lives in safety. The film's cinematographer is Egypt's Mahmoud Basher, who previously collaborated with El Arabi on "Captains of Zaatari."

"Blue 52," which combines reality and imagination, gives a behind-the-scenes look into the 2022 World Cup while portraying the lives of the people who built the stadiums.

"I aim to show the workers not just as people in the shadows, but as humans who have dreams, fears, and hopes that deserve to be acknowledged and seen," El Arabi's communiqué in a written statement. "It also becomes fascinating to have all these events take place in the backdrop of the FIFA World Cup, where our narrative featuring Ashish crosses paths with the real events as he witnesses Messi lifting his trophy and Ashish our actor becoming a part of the FIFA official music video."

"Blue 52" is produced by El Arabi through his Cairo and Los Angeles-based production and distribution firm Ambient Light, and executive produced by Tariq Al-Naama. Co-producers include Krysanne Katsoolis, Joe Matthews, and Katara Studios.

El Arabi's Ambient Light Films joined as co-producer on Mohamed Kordofani's "Goodbye Julia," Sudan's second-ever Academy Award international feature film submission, in May. The project is supported by Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o.

The film will be released on January 12, 2024. The Hindi version, which was shot in two languages simultaneously with different supporting actors, stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand.

The Tamil version of the film stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kavin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams. Both versions feature cameos by Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar.

Merry Christmas is set against a Christmas scene, when two strangers meet and connect at the same time. The clip begins with two mixer grinders, one containing peanuts and red chilies and the other containing a large number of pills.

The action then turns to Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi's characters, who meet on Christmas Eve and soon become embroiled in a series of dramatic events that land them in serious peril. Sanjay Kapoor also makes an appearance.

Sriram Raghavan, famed for his riveting thrillers such as Andhadhun, appears to be offering yet another edgy plot that is cryptic and pulpy. The chemistry between Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif is also refreshing.

Ramesh Taurani, Sanjay Routray, Jaya Taurani, and Kewal Garg created Merry Christmas.

The movie will be released on January 12, 2024.
