Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, known for discovering fresh talent, has joined hands with Mahaveer Jain Films to launch a complete newcomer in the emotional comedy-drama, creating significant buzz even before the film goes on floors.
According to industry sources, the makers auditioned several aspiring actresses before selecting a fresh face who has no prior acting experience. The decision reflects the team's commitment to bringing authenticity to the character while giving Bollywood a promising new talent.

Side Heroes stars Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Varun Sharma in pivotal roles. Directed by Sanjay Tripathy, the screenplay has been penned by Siddarth Sen, best
known for directing Good Luck Jerry, along with Pankaj Matta.
Produced by Window Seat Films and Mahaveer Jain Films, the project is backed by Neetu Mahaveer Jain, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and Shikha Karan Ahluwalia.
