RE:TV is the new platform for showcasing “sustainable solutions to the climate and biodiversity crisis,” according to the King. It is the digital extension of his non-profit, also called RE:TV, which he founded in 2020. The org has made over 100 short films about innovative environmental projects worldwide, which have previously been launched on platforms including Bloomberg and Waterbear.

RE: TV will be able to debut its material immediately online now that it has its own YouTube page.

To mark the occasion, RE: TV has produced a short film titled "The Speeches: 50 Years of Speaking Up For The Planet," in which 19 actors and environmentalists quote some of King Charles's environmental speeches from 1970 to 2020 when he was still the Prince of Wales.

Elba Colman and Woody Harrelson are among them, as well as actor Glenn Close, BBC gardening presenter Danny Clarke, YouTube environmental activist Jack Harries, and climate activist Leah Thomas.

The lectures are interlaced with video clips of deforestation, garbage, and climate change effects such as flooding.

Atomized Studios produced the short, which was directed by Anatole Sloan. Zad Rodgers and Dan Watt-Smith executive produced, while Zoe Evans produced. Nathan Klein is the composer and Alana O'Neill is the production manager. The music was recorded live at London's Air Edel Studios.

Amitabh Bachchan, an Indian film legend, is launching a generative AI studio, aggregator, and digital IP monetization platform called Ikonz.

Ikonz, which already collaborates with Indian graphic books franchises such as Amar Chitra Katha, Tinkle, and Chacha Chaudhary, has expressed its goal of "bringing together advanced technologies and cultural icons to create a new era of interactive entertainment."

Generative AI is a form of artificial intelligence (AI) system that may generate text, graphics, or other media in response to prompts, with current notable examples including ChatGPT and Bing Chat.

The Ikonz team is collaborating with Bachchan to capture his iconic characteristics and give an experience to fans all around the world. Customers in India will be able to interact with Bachchan at various locations and have him interact with them instantly when it launches at the end of 2023.

Abinav Varma Kalidindi, founder and CEO of Ikonz.

"It's a momentous day for Ikonz as the true symbolism of our name has been derived with the icon Amitabh Bachchan joining forces with us," stated Abinav Varma Kalidindi, founder and CEO of Ikonz. We will work together to harness the power of generative AI to build immersive experiences that transcend physical bounds. With our cutting-edge technology, fans will be able to connect with their favorite actors like never before. Who knows, maybe you'll be able to take selfies with Amit-ji in your town."

"I am fascinated by the way technology is evolving and the rate at which new innovations are emerging globally, one of which is generative AI," Bachchan remarked. I am thrilled to be a part of such an exciting future world of generative AI and have thus joined with Abinav-endorsed Ikonz. We will begin on this new metaverse world together."

Village Global, a venture capital group supported by Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Reid Hoffman, is among the investors of Ikonz. Woodstock and Polygon have both invested in the startup, as has "Baahubali" star Rana Daggubati and Prasad Vanga's Anthill Ventures.

The Warner Bros. comic book film, starring Ezra Miller as the titular, time-traveling speedster, has grossed $210.9 million worldwide, with a disappointing $87 million at the US box office. It's significantly less than what a picture of its size and breadth — it cost $200 million to make and another $100 million to sell — needs to break even in theatres. China leads the international territories with $23.6 million, followed by Mexico ($14.4 million) and the United Kingdom collection with $8.5 million.

Word of mouth isn't working. "The Flash" is suffering in part because it is seen as a relic of a soon-to-be-defunct comic book universe. As a result of DC Studios' new CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran's plans to retool the interconnected world of Justice League members, moviegoers don't appear to care about the mega-budget superhero tentpoles that are on the line. That's bad news for the two remaining DC titles, "Blue Beetle" (Aug.18) and Jason Momoa's "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" (Dec. 20).

"The Flash" is trailing Pixar's "Elemental" at the foreign box office. The animated film "Elemental" earned $31.3 million over the weekend and expanded to 40 regions. With $11.1 million, China is the highest-earning market, followed by Korea with $9.6 million and Mexico with $4.6 million.

"Elemental" has earned a total of $121 million worldwide, including $65.5 million at the domestic box office. The only problem is that "Elemental" cost $200 million to produce, so it must continue to draw family crowds far into summer to break even, let alone climb out of the red.

Jennifer Lawrence's filthy R-rated "No Hard Feelings" opened at $9.5 million from 48 territories. It's a promising turnout because broad comedies typically have limited international appeal. According to Sony, the picture is outperforming two previous R-rated comedies, "Cocaine Bear" by 17% and "Good Boys" by 33% in comparable regions at current currency rates. With $1.5 million, the United Kingdom led all markets, followed by Australia with $1.3 million and Germany with $1.1 million. Globally, “No Hard Feelings” stands at $24.5 million.
